Description of the product/ project	Academic Web site, responding to the requirements of the Web 2.0, created in the wake of the planetary festivities celebrating the sixth centenary of the dead of Ibn Khaldun, imminent Arabic character, universally recognized like a genius of humanity. A site answering a real request emanating from the Tunisian and foreign academic world, which in many occasions expressed the wish to see being born an academic site respecting the international scientific standards, and which is devoted to Ibn Khaldoun. The year 2006 was the year of the sixth centenary of the death of Ibn Khaldun, we had vigorously took part to it. And we activate that the year 2009 will be the year of the highest scholars of Ibn khaldun, which without them all khaldunian work would be reduced to the state of manuscripts jealously kept in the cellars of the national libraries, to best of the cases to the state of beautiful volumes proudly exhibited in some private libraries. Therefore we want that our site would be a platform of an international groupware concerning the khaldunian work.
Jury Evaluation	The web site includes a unique collection of six centuries of social and scientific heritage related to Ibn Khaldoun, the illuminator. It was made and maintained by specialists to disseminate universal human values such us democracy and good governance. It is one of the rare web sites delivering high quality cultural and scientific contents in the Arabic language with good usage of ICT.Jury Evaluation

Description of the product/ project	Jihat al-Shi'r devotes its energies to the voyage of Modern Arabic Poetry in its rich manifestations and transformations. Our ambition to introduce this poetry to the widest possible public is strongly motivated by our awareness of the importance of new means of communication and delivery in the 21st century. The possibilities provided by new technologies represent for the poet's imagination the transparent yet powerful wings that can enhance the creative imagination and encourage it to roam higher and higher in the spaces of creativity which are explored increasingly by the human imagination and the dreams of creative beings.
Jury Evaluation	A website that provides unique content which resulted as a destination for all poetry and literature seekers. The simplicity in Jehat design makes the navigation very easy. It offers translations of literature compositions , biographies, criticism, audio clips, history, and news of famous poets from the Arab and worldwide .Jehat has a very interesting mobile feature that offers it’s visitor the ability of downloading poems to their PDA.
