Portal of King Saud University. The largest Higher Education Center in Saudi Arabia. KSU goes back in history to more than fifty years; it encompasses more than twenty eight colleges - six of which are community service centers; it includes research centers and hospitals in its campus.
Its teaching staff amounts to three thousands serving 62,000 enrolled students; 4500 students are enrolled in graduate programs and 40% of them are female students.
The University total number of students represents more than one fourth of the combined male and female students registered in higher education in varied Saudi educational institutes. |

This portal is based on a Share Point technology which creates an online environment among the community of AOU-bh.

It is a well constructed e-learning model web site designed especially for the students affiliated with the university to enable them to communicate directly or indirectly with the educational, administrational and organizational structure of the university.
The site helps students to view, download and access the courses materials, receive the announcements and events held on campus. The solution offered and the built-in forum makes the site useful and beneficial to both students and instructors illustrating the concept of e-learning very clearly. |
