Career Coach
Description of the product/ project
The Career Coach is an innovative, multimedia package, which
comprises a series of personal and career development workshops
tailored made for Middle Eastern students. A powerful interactive
e-profile and print materials supports the program, ensuring
that students receive personalized feedback based upon their
answers.
E-Traffic
Description of the product/ project
Rubicon’s E-traffic product is an E-Learning product
that is rich in multimedia. Its content is designed as an
edutainment program.
- PRODUCT OBJECTIVE: The product aims to
instill in Children- aged six to eighteen- the right attitudes
toward traffic, as pedestrians and future drivers.
- CONTENT: The content presents traffic
instructions which affect safety on roads. It covers the human
elements, the road elements, and the vehicle elements, which
compose the traffic operations. The content includes helper,
lessons, and games. This content is presented as a multimedia-rich
product, where Media is a collection of tools including video,
animation, and 3D.
- AUDIENCE: The product
addresses three age groups: (6-9) years old, (10-13) years
old, and (14-18) years old
- LANGUAGE: The product is currently available
in the Arabic language, but it can be easily adapted to other
languages.
- MAIN SHAREHOLDERS: This product is a result
of a joint venture between Rubicon and Jordan Traffic Institute,
and was funded by Canada Fund and Amman Greater Municipality.
Islam Web
Description of the product/ project
E-learning System with seven languages, Arabic language learning
for non-Arabic. Quran recitation way (Tajweed). Memorization
System. Islamic Translation. Arabic letters formalization
UVT
Description of the product/ project
The web site is a complete web-based e-learning platform
of the Virtual University of Tunis (UVT) dedicated to contribute
to a real “blue revolution” of the whole education
system. The challenge is to write and to put on line almost
20% of the university multi syllabus courses within 4 years.
That is the only way to make the university system meet the
needs of growing numbers of students in an emerging Tunisian
economy. . It offers a new learning approach which is inclusive,
efficient and cost effective. It is a dynamic site delivering
online services through data base. open sources technologies
(Linux Mysql, php,…) are extensively used. It extensively
covers many topics and delivers an interactive support and
a variety of back-office supports (registration, payment,
etc.). An on-line data base carries FAQ headings and academic-curricula.
The web site includes an interactive learning system (INEs)
that allows teaching, submitting online modules on the INES
(Interactive E-learning System) platform that UVT uses for
e-learning.
eLearning and Training Center
Description of the product/ project
Our product is a CBT and an e-Learning course that contains
lots of Learning Objects and it is SCORM compliant. We have
produced four completed elearning courses (In house). Each
course consists of Learning Objects (LOs). (i.e.) our courses
contain text, pictures, animation, interactive flashes, and
assessment (In house). We have zipped each course from our
production so that it could be imported in any Learning Management
System (LMS) if the LMS is SCORM compliant. Moreover, we have
applied our production upon our students in Buraydah College
of Technology by using ATutor LMS after we (eLTC team) developed
ATutor by translating it to Arabic Language. |
