Description of the product/ project
Jihat al-Shi'r was a cooperative project led by al-Nadeem Foundation in Bahrain and the poet Qassim Haddad. Now Jihat al-Shi'r is re-launched in its new format having benefited greatly from the experience of the past five years and developed and refined its various aspects and enriched it with new ones. As many of its specialist and non-specialist visitors have testified, this site has established itself as one of the most important sites on the Internet devoted to poetry. While the site continue to uphold the original vision in order to open up new possibilities and aspire to achieve a lot more than the original site.

Continue to provide unique & rich content which resulted a destination for all poetry and literature seekers, relatively to other website Jehat fulfils its ambition to introduce poetry to the public. While the simplicity and easiness of design make it easy to navigate through the site.
Jehat offer biography, online texts, criticism, audio clips, history, and news from the famous poets from the Arabic world & around the world and translated and none translated of deferent compositions literature. Very interesting feature is the mobile Jehat which offer it’s visitor the ability of downloading poems to their PDA.

Believing in the folklore as one of the basic constituents of any national culture that highlights the idiosyncrasy and national identity, the interest in this art stems from the need to classify and record it systematically by applying scientific modern methods. The main objective is to conserve this folk heritage for future generations without exaggeration or belittling its importance. Linking the folklore to daily lives, understanding it and to be inspired by its affluent source is desirable demand to keep abreast with our cultural heritage throughout the ages.
Jury Evaluation
Folk Culture is a companion website to a physical publication by the same name. It aims to shed the light on folklore and traditional games, dishes and habits, be it from Bahrain or the rest of the Arabic world. The authors aim to make folklore parallel to the modern life we live to preserve the local identity and uniqueness of the communities that practice it.

Arabic Cultural Café is a personal website for the Bahraini novelist and short stories writer Jamal al-Khayyat in which it spot the light on the bright side of the Arabic culture by giving the opportunity for the creative writers from the Arabic world to show how great is the unique civilization. The café is divided to many rooms such as the (Bahow) where the entire varieties or arts meet in fields such as short stories, novels, plays, photography, cinema, etc..., while in (Shorofat) original pieces of work are published there in the main categories of litterers. (Al-Malath Al-Amean) is the place of all debates in different issues which are going around in the cultural society. (Laytana Kona Hounak) is the event schedules and coverage from all over the world. As well as the latest interviews with writers, actors, publishers, etc is all there in (wjouh Alyefa) section, and for painting art then (Al-Rewaq) will be the right place to explore, same thing will apply with (Al-Khashkool) where the latest publications can be explored. In (Fada'a) will list those creative writers or institutions who published their quality over the net. Beside what mentioned above there are other sections like Al-Bayt Baytouk, Shahadat, Agenda, Quortas and Rashafat.

The website houses a wealth of artistic cultural content, ranging from poetry to short stories to music and much more. The website offers news and critique of the many authors and their artistic work. Not to mention that does contain stories and poetry besides the news and opinions.
