>eGovernment Portal< website has recently launched with
updated information about: the profile , the directorates, the director, the ongoing projects and eServices offered at the CIO.
The CIO also issues the smart cards and provides information on
obtaining it through the website. Numerous application forms are
available to the public as well as downloadable brochures along with statistical information.

>eGovernment Portal< is the main site of the eGoverment portal.
It is a comprehensive bilingual content of the eGoverment services
in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The site can be considered as one-stop
shop for researchers, investors, vendors, students and the public.
The design is simple, easy to read and navigate for up to date
links. It has powerful statistical and reporting system.

Description of the product/ project
>Ministry of Finance< The current Ministry website is the third version since 1997 with many improvements in site design and content. The main components of the site are: the organization structure of the Ministry; the laws and the regulations; the
economic agreements; the economic indicators; the state budget;
the training programs; the press release and speeches; the
publications; and the e-services. The site is maintained using a
well documented procedure to ensure that the site information is
timely, relevant and complete. A methodology is also in place to
ensure the continuous improvement.
Jury Evaluation
>Ministry of Finance< website is the official site for the regulatory
body of all government projects, revenues, and expenditures. The
site has a good beautiful design, easy to read and navigate for links or subjects. It has powerful statistical and reporting system
that gives useful national financial information such as Total State Revenue & Expenditure, Recurrent Expenditure and Project Expenditure

access by the employees of Ministry of Interior. It gives access to different resources for the ministry personnel to various links about
regulations, programs, files and help applications.

>Ministry of Interior< has very comprehensive content about rules and regulations of the traffic and license directions. It is easy
to navigate and provides updated news and online services with ability to pay traffic fines and renewing licenses. The design is
simple, attractive and provides the ability to choose the Arabic or
English language. The multimedia is simple and used effectively. The portal is used also to educate the users about the traffic rules.

permits. The site is structured in a way that helps the user easily
