Being one of the leading Bahraini newspapers Akbar Al Khaleej has a very well constructed new revamped website that provides the reader / user with easy navigation and access tools.
The website provides full fledge daily local and international news hence when opening the site the layout neatly shows the headlines section and later further explains each segment separately along with the visuals relating to the news with the least hastle of looking for the news or clicking on the title. All pages of the newspaper can be downloaded on PDF including any advertisements published.
The website toolbars show all aspects of the physical paper from cartoons, writers columns, business reports, weekly supplements etc. The site has an archive to the older editions and provides different industrial links to other business, journals, magazines and the Bahrain stock exchange. It also has a daily interactive poll questionnaire to the public. Overall the design of the website is very user friendly.

Al Wasat newspaper made a great development in their website, the website provides the complete content of the printed newspaper with an easy navigation, and this is beside to the various e-services. The PDF version of the newspaper is very well organized and very easy to navigate; the proper pages categorization makes the reader have an idea about the content of each page.
One of the interesting features is the on-line new, where the news published anytime during the day which makes the website not just a copy of the printed newspaper, Al Wasat taking another step ahead by providing the on-line radio with exclusive programs. Al Wasat is a true on-line newspaper that is combining the concept of the printed newspaper with the advantage of the internet.
